HPI Savage Flux Servo Box Mount with Dual Servo Option

Hello everyone, my Savage is shaping up and I noticed that electrifying an old 21-25, might take some update that you may actually buy or do it yourself. I always chose to do things by myself so, in order to get the rid of the horrible first generation servo box, I decided to design my own version for both single steering servo or dual steering servo. People that got the old Savage X or XL are used to the fast access servo box with the twisting locking nut. Now, if you're upgrading a first generation Savage, you might as well enjoy this opening method without the need of buying the whole stuff plus closing the unused servo mount. For building this stuff, do not forget to use a M3x8 screw to hold the locking nut to the box itself. Plus you can choose both the single or the dual steering servo housing in case you want to upgrade your truck with that mod without mauling the original servo box and you'll still have lot of space inside for wires. I made two inlets for ESC cables or Light Cables, one in the front of the box and one in the rear. The mounts (both servo saver and chassis side) match the original ones and you will just need 4 M3x8 screws to hold it to the chassis. Take in mind that you will need to print the Shim twice and put it between the box and each pole of the servo saver to match the correct distance. Hope you'll enjoy this. I tested on Alza Racing Chassis but it works just fine on stock chassis. UPDATE APRIL 28TH 2022: Since many of you requested it I modified the cover with a more streamline and savage-like design adding a hump for extra internal space for all your needs. You can still print the original low profile cover or go for the new one.
