This is a replacement battery box for the HP9114A Disk Drive from the 1980s. It follows the dimensions of the original (a sloped box), with a latch to hold it in place. Battery: It uses a 6V 2.8Ah lead-acid battery as in the original. Battery dimensions are 66x33x103mm. The battery fit is tight, so you nay have to bend the terminals down a bit to ensure they fit properly. Front panel options: There are two options for the front panel. FRONT1 allows for a (very rare) HP power connector, as in the original. This version would require a small charging board to be added inside. FRONT2 allows for two 4mm terminals and a fuse, for use with an external charger. FRONT3 allows for a 2.1x5.5mm DC jack. Rear-panel connector: Cinch (Jones) S302AB. Panel mounting, two lugs. Now hard to find but does appear on ebay. Fuse: Any small 20mm fuseholder, with a 4A or 5A fuse. Updates: 29/4/2021 Added an alternative front panel for a 2.1x5.5mm DC jack instead of 4mm sockets.
