HP Touchpad Charging Vehicle Mount
thingiverse
I created a way to secure the Touchpad wireless desktop charging stand in a vehicle, so I made one myself. It fits snugly into the charger and features a standard AMPS hole pattern for use with Panavise and other mounts that have a 30mm x 38mm pattern. Check it out in my Police Interceptor on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hrs5jgiB0ng (skip to 7:00 if you're not interested in the vehicle details). The model fits perfectly. I used a hot air pencil to loosen up the upper hook slightly, so it wouldn't hold too tight. As it stands now, it works great, simply snapping into place and holding firm in the vehicle. Print Settings: Printer: Flash Forge Creator Pro Rafts: No Supports: Yes Notes: I printed the mount in two halves, splitting them down the middle to minimize support requirements (I'm not a fan of supports). I didn't even bother gluing the two halves together. The mount itself keeps them securely in place.
