HP Spectre x360 Laptop Stand

HP Spectre x360 Laptop Stand

A stand for my HP Spectre x360 convertible laptop. This stand should work for other laptops as well, but the hooks on the front fit the Spectre 360 perfectly! Note that the bases don't go all the way to the back of the laptop, but still holds it up wonderfully. Print in the orientation the files are already in for no supports or rafts. There are several options available for this stand. I don't like the hooks in the center of the laptop, so for the bases I print 2 with hooks for the outside, and 1 without hooks for the center. If you don't mind the hooks you can print all 3 bases with them. The stand is a little slidy on my desk, so I made connectors that were .5mm taller than the normal connectors and printed them with TPU and 15% infill. This makes them more grippy. Also included are some screws with taller heads that could be printed with TPU and used the same way. For a complete stand with no hook in the center, and no TPU you would print: 12x dale-screw.stl 6x dale-connector.stl 2x dale-base-hook.stl 1x dale-base-nohook.stl Replace either dale-connector.stl or dale-screw.stl for the "taller" version if you want to print them with TPU for the non-skid factor. I printed the bases from PLA at 20% infill, and the screws from PETG with 100% infill. This was probably overkill on the screws because they don't need to be very tight and don't hold much, but that's the way I generally print screws so... For portable use, you can always just print a couple of the bases with hooks and chunk them in your laptop bag. That's what I do with some of my experiments I printed before I got everything dialed in with the screw holes in the bottom of the bases.
