The plan was to encase it with Arduino Ramps 1.4, so a protective shell would be necessary to safeguard the electronics inside. To ensure that the enclosure fit perfectly, measurements were taken as accurately as possible, taking into account any slight discrepancies in part dimensions (typically around 0.1mm).
