HP Reverb G2 remix "wide wings" based on face gasket v7 by jewcookie. New update : R9 - removing from WIP. I use my own headset/face to test before uploading models, but everyone's face and lighting are different so YMMV. Previous update info below. For R9, I've overhauled quite a bit of the model. - I've smoothed out some of the "rougher" bits to try and make it a little better looking on print out (a little less jaggy). This also was because it helped reduce errors in the model itself with all of my "twisting, pushing and pulling". - Extended "shelf" under top mount pegs to remove a little more gap to help with light blocking. - Adjusted "shelf" above bottom mount pegs (including near nose piece) for better fitment and to help with light blocking. - Added/enlarged "shelf" around nose piece outside to again, help with light blocking. *Note* there is still light bleed on the inside of the nose piece however, due to not having the rubber nose gasket. - Attempted to adjust mounting peg interior to allow for 4x5mm magnets as requested. - Another widening of the backside of gasket, and removed "side" wings for maximum width fit/availability. NOTE, this means that it will likely NEED to be paired with a fitted cover like for Odyssey+ or Index, and not used with "weather stripping foam pieces". That means light bleed from the sides is only blocked by good fitting cover combined with pressure from your face. I am leaving R1 and R7 uploaded in case anyone prefers one of those two versions more. (notes from previous R7) R7 includes a few adjustments. There's a "tab" at the bottom of the nose area with the intention of lowering some light bleed. It doesn't work great but might be something I look into further. I have also tweaked the gasket areas where they meet the headset to lower some light bleed areas, especially around the top eyebrow areas. I have also "widened" the basket itself and the wings from my original. In testing, I have used some leftover velcro and a VR Cover made for the Samsung Odyssey Plus. This newest version allows me to wear my main glasses (which are fairly wide), on a large face, and no longer feel like my temples are being squeezed. Note, there is definite light bleed around the nose area. Some foam can help close that off if you find it bothersome. You can see in comparison picture that in reference to stock, it still sits closer in to the lenses, even with a thicker cushion. The extra width isn't as visible in the pics, but is definitely there.
