HP Reverb G2 face Gasket / wide / Glasses
thingiverse
I modified the face insert to fit my face , flat front , no temple squashing sides and reduced the nose area. Also cut outs for wide glasses and a channel for the cable.I know there are others here but for me they all had a curvy front which I found uncomfortable after a some time in the headset, the on that comes with the headset is like having my head in a vice very uncomfortable, While this does bring you closer to the lenses this is more about comfort for people that have wide faces and wear glasses not FOV. There is zero light bleed from the cutouts as they are deep inside the headset , the only light bleed is a tiny sliver of light in the front nose area, which I fixed with a 25 X 5 X 3mm window seal tape. This is the finished product will not be making any more mods on this. The usual hook & loop tape and face cushion , you can use the cheaper Aliexpress ones or the Samsung O+ both will fit well.Holes are made for 4mm dia magnets , lightly heat up the area in question then slowly insert the magnets they should be a firm fit. I hope that other people with similiar issues find this useful.
