HP Proliant DL180 Fan Bracket
thingiverse
Replacing noisy jet plane fans with standard 60x60x25 mm fans in my HP Proliant server was a top priority. I made the switch and couldn't be happier with the results. To ensure these new fans stayed put inside the server's inlets, I crafted custom brackets to keep them firmly in place. These brackets are a game-changer and provide peace of mind knowing my equipment is running smoothly. I opted for PETG as the material of choice due to its added rigidity compared to PLA. However, ABS would probably be the ideal choice for maximum durability. After further refinement, I updated the bracket design on August 13th, 2019, by moving the fan closer to the front of the server. This tweak has made a significant difference in airflow and overall performance.
