HP Procurve Switch Vertical Mounting Ears

HP Procurve Switch Vertical Mounting Ears

I recently had to install a 24 port HP Procurve switch under a workbench and decided that creating custom mounting brackets would be the simplest solution. Horizontal mounting brackets might be a more accurate description, but I called these vertical ears because they are positioned perpendicularly to the switch body. However, you could also use them to mount the switch on a wall, so it's not a bad choice. These brackets align with the holes on the side of the switch for rackmount brackets, the 4-hole version fits the front mounts, and the 2-hole version is designed for the rear. Attach the brackets to the switch and then screw them into place in any flat surface.
