This is an adapter designed specifically for fitting new HP monitors with unique curved backs onto traditional VESA100 brackets. The curved shape of these modern monitors can obstruct peripherals from being placed behind them, which is why this adapter exists. It cleverly utilizes the bracket found at the base of the HP monitor stand, and requires two M4 screws to securely attach both the monitor bracket to the adapter, as well as the adapter itself to the VESA mount.
