I don't think anyone will ever use this! If you own an HP mixed reality headset with an inter-pupillary distance (IPD) greater than 67mm, and your warranty has expired, consider yourself lucky if you're even close to being a DIY genius like MacGyver. Here's a short guide: Open your headset from the front and work your way towards the back. Use a saw to separate the two displays. Apply a small amount of ABS solution in acetone/thinner to a printed spacer made from ABS plastic, and carefully glue it between the now-separated displays. Remove the four mounting holes that attach the display unit to the headset with a saw. Next, use a Dremel tool to cut 2mm off each of the corresponding four steps on the headset for those screws. Enlarge the two holes for the lenses in the cover. Reassemble everything, and voilà! The included STL file contains spacers for 6mm, 6.3mm, and 6.6mm. You can adjust the spacer width by editing the .scad file.
