My Hoymiles HM-800 is installed in a vertical position where rain is always flowing from one PV module directly onto/over the inverter. I know that the inverter is IP67 rated but it cannot hurt to redirect the water so that it doesn't flow directly over it.Additionally the inverter is installed with one screw onto a 40x40 mm aluminium profile for which the cover has a cutout.Installation/Parts:1x M3 stainless steel nut1x M3x18(minimum) SHCS screwFit the cover in place, use a 2.5mm drill to spot drill the hole position using the cover as guide.Remove the cover and increase the hole, use a 3.3mm drill minimum.Printing:Material: I used "Extrudr ASA" because it's UV resistantInfill: 100%, the only parts where less infill would result in less material being used are the parts where it needs the strength.Nozzle: 0.4mmLayer Height: 0.2mmSupports: I don't think it's needed but I used auto generated Organic support which supports the M3 hole and nut locationSheet: Satin-Sheet + gluestickOrientation: Sitting on the shorter cover side to fit the bed.Brim: I added square 0.2mm thick adhesion “ears” on both ends of the holder when printing using PrusaSlicer. See screenshot. Those are required to prevent the cover from lifting at both ends.
