Howzat! Recycled Cricket Stumps
myminifactory
I'm feeling inspired and let down by England's recent Ashes performance, so I came up with an idea for this competition. At least one thing can be saved from being a disaster - the cans! So, we'll need a lot of parts. We'll start with bases that have removable lawn spikes. The connectors will have inset magnets to give them extra sticking power. The top sections will hold the precious bails. We'll need three bottom sections, three spikes, 24 connectors, three top pieces, and two bails. That's five cans per stump, for a total of 15 stumps. We'll also need 48 four-by-three-by-fifteen-millimeter magnets. You can either leave the cans empty or fill them with whatever you choose - a bit of sand, a couple of stones, or even the remains of your last design. Just be careful not to get the magnets turned around, or your stumps will decide they don't like each other and fly off into space! Now, put down your computer and printer and go hit a few home runs!
