How To Recycle Handvac Batteries

When a hand vacuum goes haywire, most batteries still retain their charge. Usually, these batteries are sub-C type batteries, resembling small C cells. Unfortunately, sub-C cells don't fit into standard C-cell slots, making it tough to repurpose them. This adapter allows you to breathe new life into the sub-C cells as C cells. The screw I used was a 1/4 inch screw that I shortened to 4.5mm by grinding it down, giving it just enough length to make contact with the battery inside the adapter. Any screw will work as long as it's securely attached to the adapter. Keep in mind that the total length of the adapter plus battery should be exactly 50mm.
