How to make a lightsign

Here's a cool looking LED light sign you can make: just check out these pictures and get the idea! This design is specifically tailored for FDM single extruder printers - you'll need to manually swap filaments at the correct layer height, and don't forget to add some tolerance so parts fit together smoothly. The LEDs are 12V, but I've only powered them with 9V to prevent overheating and excessive brightness. The reason for using multiple LEDs is to achieve uniform lighting. To print this design successfully, follow these instructions: keep your infill at zero to avoid visible lines; use the bottom, top, and wall layer numbers to fine-tune how it's printed; don't even think about using transparent filament - it'll make hot spots from the LED light painfully obvious; normal white is the way to go, as it diffuses the light beautifully.
