This tutorial shows how to add a song to finish printing on a Da Vinci Jr converted to RAMPS 1.4. I'm going to share one of the things I did to personalize my printer. To play a beep sound in our printers, we use GCODE M300. To make this work, we need to convert a song into an old format used by Nokia phones called RTTL. First, find the song you want in MIDI format and search online for a website that converts MIDI to RTTL. For example, valentin.dasdeck.com/midi/mid2rttl.php is a great resource. You can also use other websites to do the same thing. Next, we need another website to convert from RTTL to GCODE. For instance, ddrboxman.github.io/RepRapRingtone is a useful tool. Just copy the GCODE generated and paste it into your printer's ending script GCODE in your printer profile. Here's a link for the MARIO BROTHER MIDI: khinsider.com/midi/nes/super-mario-bros Note that the STL file is only required by Thingiverse, so you don't need to use it. Update: In the download section, I've uploaded the code used in my printer. You can test any song just by printing it on your printer. Don't worry, it will simply play the music.
