Hovership MHQ2
thingiverse
Updated the MHQ2 parts by doubling the plate thickness to boost the body's structural integrity. Boosted the landing gear height to make room for a 4S battery at the base (still working on that!). Arms remained unchanged. Check out this quadcopter's maiden flight on video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGaU51msiHU. Vibration dampers from Hovership were undersized for the plates because of the added thickness, so the quadcopter experiences quite a lot of vibration during flight. New dampers should be arriving shortly to rectify the issue. Update - 12/13/2015 Added FPV gear; however, I've yet to fly the quad as I'm still waiting for the larger vibration dampers to arrive. Print Settings Printer: MarkForged MarkOne Rafts: No Supports: No Notes: The frame is printed with a mix of nylon and carbon fiber. Meanwhile, arms were made from nylon and fiberglass.
