hovercraft
thingiverse
A remote-controlled hovercraft structure is designed to accommodate E-flite mSR helicopter components. It operates well on water surfaces; however, note that the mSR board isn't waterproof. An early prototype video can be viewed here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDDZQw3Hpbk and another one here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wH2O2NwLNrM. More updates are coming soon! For optimal performance, use a high-quality stick, print with fan and supports, seal a freezer bag for the skirt (using a lighter), attach electronics and skirt with outdoor double-sided tape, drill out the steering out drive holes, and place the battery in the front right corner for balance.
