HoverBot Nano AKK A5/Wolfwhoop Q2 Front Mount
thingiverse
I'm excited to share with you my latest project - a front mount for the AKK A5/Wolfwhoop Q2 FPV camera! This sleek design features a 30-degree camera angle, providing an unparalleled view of your surroundings. I've also improved prop clearance by relocating the camera connectors and soldering them directly onto the board. Additionally, I replaced the flimsy antenna that came with the camera with a sturdy spare unit, carefully positioning it to ensure optimal reception. The transmitter is securely attached using some strong VHB tape. My EF-02 camera had finally given up on me after a series of minor crashes, and although I found a similar replacement, it broke easily and stopped working altogether. Fearing another costly mistake, I decided to take the plunge and try out the AKK A5/Wolfwhoop Q2. With my custom front mount in place, my drone now weighs a respectable 41.55 grams without the battery or prop guard attached.
