Hoverboard project control panelHacky projects built from hoverboard hub motors are quite common and I wanted a way to re-use the charge socket and on/off button in them. I also added a battery isolator as it's good to completely disconnect it when not in use and it also acts as a basic 'key' you can remove.Make sure to get the same battery isolator as shown in the picture, they're very common. There four variants, 'deep' ones make the battery isolator flush, the 'shallow' ones leave some of it protruding to get hold of more easily. The ones with a 'gland' are to take a standard M12 cable gland for any projects with a wired controller. You can cut the holes needed with a holesaw then hold it in place with some countersunk screws.
