Housing for Volumio player based on Raspberry pi 2b/3b
thingiverse
This is a housing intended for use with a Raspberry Pi 2b or 3B with a hifiberry dac with 2 rca connectors and a Waveshare 4.3inch LCD DSI Display (https://www.waveshare.com/4.3inch-dsi-lcd.htm) I made it to use as a Volumio player but you can do whatever you want with it. The exposed interfaces are: raspberry pi ethernet, 2x usb, power; hifiberry: 2x rca. It's made out of 2 parts and are secured with m2.5 bolts. (the printed holes are not accurate and need to be drilled out to whatever diameter works for you) The display is attached to the Raspberry with the standoffs and the display is pinched between the 2 housing parts in the corner were the outer mounting holes for the display are. Besides the raspberry, hifiberry dac and the display other hardware needed is 4 m2.5 bolts (m3 may be possible) and some standoffs and screws which should come with the display. The whole thing is pretty light and will fall over if the rca cables are not supported. I printed this with the visible surface (front of bezel and back of main housing) touching the build plate so i didn't have to fill the whole thing with supports but this leaves an ugly finish.
