Housing for USB port and 2 switches
thingiverse
This is a quick housing I threw together to hold a USB port and 2 switches for some electronics I added to my motorcycle. Please read and understand before printing, they are some oddly specific parts, but I hope it helps! USB used: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N6S2SNM?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details Switch: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N2U8PK0?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details Other switch (slightly larger due to the mounting bracket): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08P188SMW?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details I made this to house all of these. They are, in application, wired directly to the battery. The 2nd switch was added to the + leg of the USB port so I can easily turn it off and prevent battery drain. The marine USB port slides straight in, and there is a recessed slot in the back to allow you to tighten the retaining ring. Then you can put the two switches in and glue the bottom plate onto the wires. I printed this with basic PLA filament at 30% infill; it was a 3hr40min print, and is plenty strong for my application. I hope this helps someone!
