I crafted this housing for a gear assembly from a discarded Bosch battery drill. The gear assembly boasts a diameter of 36 millimeters. To bring my creation to life, I salvaged a motor from an outdated HP printer, the C9000-60005 model. Four sturdy 4mm x 60mm screws hold everything in place. A ball bearing, retrieved from the main motor of a hard drive, measures 13mm x 4mm x 5mm and plays a crucial role in my project's success. Using my lathe, I fabricated a shaft to connect seamlessly with the gear assembly. This innovative housing remains a work-in-progress, so expect updates as it takes shape.
