Housing for LCD + Keypad from RepRapWorld
thingiverse
I purchased an LCD + keypad from RepRapWorld but unfortunately they didn't have a housing available at that time. To overcome this issue I designed and created a custom housing for my keypad in SolidWorks, incorporating special knobs as part of the design. The keypad was then mounted securely with screws and carefully positioned between nuts so that the switches were precisely aligned with the buttons. This setup allows me to press the buttons on the outside by 0.5mm which is more than sufficient to activate the switches. I generated the gcode for printing using Simplify3D, a process that took nearly six hours to complete.
