Mount a generic light sensor module directly onto your TV using a breadboard to monitor the status of the TV's LED. I utilize this setup to quickly determine whether my TV is turned on or off. 1. Gently bend the diode to the back as shown in the accompanying photos. 2. Securely place it within the printed case designed for this purpose. 3. Carefully adhere the case to the surface of your TV using a suitable adhesive. The light sensor module will perfectly mirror the LED status of your TV, allowing you to still view its state clearly.
