Housing for a PWM fan control board (3D Printer Encasing)
thingiverse
I recently built an enclosure for my 3D printer because I wanted to add a HEPA/activated carbon filter. This filter uses a PWM high pressure fan for ventilation in this enclosure (sucks in fresh air and pushes the "dirty" air out through the filters). I bought a PWM fan board to control the speed of the fan (https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07HB5TV49/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1). I currently use it at a fixed speed, but it is also possible to control a desired temperature (along with a temperature probe). I added a 24V switch and packed everything into this case, which you can print out! :) The bottom plate is screwed with threaded inserts and M3 countersunk screws. You can also leave the case open. In this case you don't need to print the cover.
