Hi! I designed an enclosure for my 3D printer using sheet metal, Perspex, and Ply because I had constant problems with overheating, but since building it, the difference in my printed parts has been significant. If you're looking for a housing, feel free to download this design and make any necessary adjustments to the files or LCD controller placement. When choosing hinges, check what options are available to you first; it's recommended that you buy or print these parts before cutting the sheet metal and Perspex, as they will enhance the project's completion. I've included a Bill of Materials and engineering drawings for those without 3D software access, allowing them to convert the files.
