houseboat "Philemon II"

I went on vacation during summer holidays 2014 by walking along Berlin's waters, which is Germany's capital. I saw many speedboats and houseboats that made me want to build one when I'm older. On Saturday, June 20th, 2015, I searched the internet for 3D printers and modeling software. After a few minutes, I found the Thingiverse website, where I discovered the S.T.E.A.M. Challenges. The #MakeItFloat challenge caught my eye, and I thought to myself, "I can build a houseboat!" It took me five afternoons of work, which is a lot when you consider that I go to school in the morning, but eventually, I had a model of a houseboat. However, I didn't have access to a 3D printer at home, so I searched for alternatives like 3D Hubs or Makerspaces online. I found one near me in Dresden called the Saxon State Library and University Library's Makerspace. The next day, I visited the Makerspace and they told me that they would print my model but it would take some time. For three weeks, I was anxiously waiting to see if all the details of my houseboat were printable. Finally, after those long weeks, the printing of my model was finished, but there was only one week left before uploading the final version. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough time for a second print at the Makerspace Dresden. I used Autodesk Inventor Professional 2014 Student Version to design my houseboat because I'm currently fifteen years old and this version is available to students like me. My inspiration came from summer 2014 when I first saw those houseboats along Berlin's waters. Designing was a lot of fun, and I'm happy with the final result. My houseboat is very detailed and it's one thing print. So, I described all the rooms and ground plans for both floors in some uploaded pictures. Designing and describing all those rooms were a lot of fun, so if you come across the phrase "I must print it," please choose the smallest layer height to print (at least 0.1 mm layer height for all details). I also uploaded a short film that shows my houseboat in action. Note: The STL file attached is version 1.1 of my model, and you can see an earlier version, which is 1.0, in the film and featured picture because there wasn't enough time to print version 1.1.
