I'm in the process of doing a house drawing for my 50+ years old brick veneer house. It's a significant task and needless to say, I don't have digital drawings to start from. With rennoations over the years, I don't have accurate nor complete plans, hence the time has come, to make my own drawings.My house plans needed drawings for used windows, doors, etc. Even if these drawings do exist, I don't have access to them, so I created my own.Included is a windows collection I used in building my house drawing. To note, dimensions for each window are hand measured and reflects the exposed window component, only. In parts, I have simplified the drawings, too.Sorry, I'm unaware of window brands and models used, so can't reference a catalog product. Based on the house age, it's most likely that most of these windows are no longer available for purchase. Since houses have long lifetimes, it's possible that other readers will need these windows for their drawings, too.Collection: * 600x680mm, horizontal two panes, one sliding, the other fixed. * 1190x680mm, horizontal two panes, one sliding, the other fixed. * 1780x935mm, horizontal two panes, one sliding, the other fixed. * 1785x1100mm, horizontal two panes, one sliding, the other fixed. * 2385x1185mm, horizontal three panes, two sliding, centre fixed. * 3090x1785mm, horizontal three panes, two sliding, centre fixed. * 805x1990mm, vertical, two panes, both moving.I've included the STEP CAD file to assist people to incorporate the model into their designs. If you're like me, it doesn't matter how much care you take, it's still possible to miss details in the 3D design. Typical missed details that will lead you into problems include: - Parts encroaching on others. - Hole spacings misaligned.A 3D model of each component incorporated into your design helps avoid some of the design pitfalls.Here are my 3D designs.
