Wall-mountable plaque featuring the house symbol and words of an obscure Westerosi family is a unique gift.\n(I designed it specifically for my GoT Reddit Gift Exchange recipient)\nPost-Printing\nThe post-processing workflow that inspired me was heavily influenced by this model: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1458545\nFor the wooden portions, I gathered sawdust and small wood chips from the garage floor and poured them over a brushed-on layer of XTC3D. Adding some paint varied the colors.\nHow I Designed This\nModeling in Blender was a new experience for me, as it was my first real attempt at creating 3D models. The plaque itself was designed in DesignSpark Mechanical, while Photoshop handled the text additions.
