Originally, I had a bizarre nightmare about a sorcerer living in a Norse hut made of dragon scale shingles and featuring spider-like legs. Upon waking, I was driven to create a model of this unique building and creature. Similar in scale to my Viking house (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:88464), the House Spider is designed specifically for 15mm miniatures, particularly my Pocket-Tactics models. For printing, black ABS was used at a .1 layer height with 10% infill. Assembly involved Superglue, and model acrylics were applied for painting. The house, door, and roof were purposefully left unglued to allow their use as standalone terrain pieces.
