This 3D model was initially designed with Sketchup 14 before being converted to various other 3D formats. Its native format is .skp, while the 3dsmax scene is based on 3ds Max 2016 and rendered using Vray 3.00. The design originated from coolhouseplans.com. I made several adjustments: I slightly flattened the roof, transformed the living room into a theatre, added a back staircase to the family room, inserted pocket doors, and moved the fireplace in the study. Each of these additions features its own layer. This house has 3064 square feet, as listed. In my attempt to soften the edges, it had some unexpected effects, leading to irregular wall designs. The model represents a billboard house with an eye-catching exterior visible only on the front facade; the remaining parts are relatively plain. The 3dsmax scene includes three types of masonry materials along the front elevation for visual interest.
