This is a unique residence in the shape of a geodesic dome designed to provide a cozy living space on the eastern edge of Paulwall. Although Paulwall has several domes, each has its own distinct floor plan making this home one of a kind. Geodesic domes are relatively expensive to build but offer significant savings when it comes to heating and cooling costs compared to traditional houses. This structure is composed of hexagons and pentagons, which are surprisingly not much thicker than conventional walls. The hinged shape allows for ease of construction with wall studs providing additional stability. Due to its dome shape, this house would be a perfect choice for the Paulwall area which is prone to severe storms every spring. The perfectly flat land provides a serene backdrop for the modern dwelling, making it an attractive option. Additionally, this geodesic dome design makes it impervious to earthquakes even though Paulwall is not in a seismically active zone. Although the architecture may appear different from traditional homes, the same building techniques are used allowing for easy exploration. The model includes three bedrooms and two bathrooms. This house shares similarities with other domes used as vacation homes or cabins. Some people refer to it as a hobbit's bungalow, but its owner could also be a famous soccer player! Whether you choose to see it in that light, this dome house is sure to captivate anyone who views it.
