House finch, a true marvel of quad geometry. This magnificent model has been meticulously rigged and animated for Lightwave 8.5 and up standard maps, ensuring a seamless integration with your favorite animation software. Rigged and Animated for 3DS MAX 2019 PBR maps, this stunning House Finch takes flight in exquisite detail. Its feathers are carefully crafted geometry, rendering fast without the need for any plugins. This model comes with multiple pre-animated scenes to get you started, and its wings are expertly animated using a total of six bones within each wing. You can adjust settings such as spreading the wing tip feathers and tail feathers using morph targets. The controlling object is the root bone, which effortlessly guides the entire animation process. I have provided several scene files to get you flying in no time: HF-FlyLoop.lws, HF-LandTakeOff.lws. In both Lightwave and 3DS MAX environments, you'll find LT-FootController and RT-FootController respectively controlling the feet and legs. With a total of twenty-five Morph targets at your disposal, precision control is now in your hands. In addition to mouth movements and phonemes, which are meticulously controlled by nine Morph targets accessible through Object > Properties > "Deform", you can manipulate the wing positions using ten Morph positions including flapping and folded states. The wings themselves have three controlling bones and ten morph targets at each, making flight a delight to control. Furthermore, the eyes come equipped with numerous Morph targets allowing for nuanced eyebrow movement and eyelid manipulation, adding a human touch to this digital wonder. You can unfold the wings by employing the specified Morph targets; however, be aware that altering the bone positions beforehand may lead to unexpected results. Don't worry – just zeroing out those wing bone positions should resolve any issue! And as for Max-specific glitches, simply try toggling TurboSmooth and Morph on/off several times while setting up your animation to prevent losing control of certain points during model rendering. This highly detailed model features sub-patching to deliver real-world hi-resolution geometry that looks incredibly life-like, boasting an impressive 18,410 vertices and 12,740 polygons. And with high-definition maps available in both RGB and grayscale at 300 dpi, you're guaranteed exceptional visuals in every scene.
