House Boat Pontoon

This is a rough model designed for a friend who needed to create a house boat using some pontoons available on Ebay. The pontoons are approximately one meter long, and the model parts were required to be three inches long. The STL files were created at 1/10th scale and then altered in Slic3r to give an overall length of the flat-ended center pontoon of three inches. To make printing easier, the center squares on the pontoons are recessed, allowing a printed square block to be glued in. The full-size pontoons interlock with a square-peggged end on the center pontoons. The actual project will involve creating two pontoons, each consisting of eight sections on either side, resulting in a total length of just under nine meters for each pontoon section. Additional parts will be added as they are completed.
