House 7
thingiverse
I crafted this house using my own design skills. In one of the lessons for 8th graders, they learn Google Sketchup and are tasked with creating an exact replica of a physical object in the software. To ensure precision, students use the dimension tool to verify accuracy. This lesson method allows me to evaluate success easily while teaching proper usage of the tool. However, I faced an issue with the balcony appearing sharp after completion, so I opted to print it as multiple parts instead. Similarly, the roof is a separate piece. To assemble the finished parts, I use acetate and leftover scrap materials.
