Hourglass Maze Vase

Hourglass Maze Vase

Look at that dazzling magenta PETG! If there's ever a filament I'm determined to resist trying to devour, it's this one. I'm convinced it smells like sweet treats, too, but people tell me that's just my imagination running wild...Anyway, what do we have here? More math-inspired art, vase mode in particular. This one's a maze-like profile lofted over a sine curve. Not the most intricate puzzle, but one that suggests complexity in its style, and I'm okay with that. And yes, a sine curve - there's something infinitely cool about those familiar trigonometric curves that show up everywhere, so recognizable even if we don't consciously notice it at the time. This one's created in OpenSCAD, using the same technique documented (along with code) in the Quadratic Vase, so go take a look there if you're curious how it's put together.Have fun!
