This wall sconce takes inspiration from a classic wall fixture featured in The Dick Van Dyke Show. It showcases two LED tea lights powered by a remote control, mainly serving as a decorative piece due to the relatively low brightness of the lights. To get an accurate sense of its size, note that the assembled height is approximately 17 inches. For mounting, command strips are provided as an option, although you can also drill holes for a more secure hold if desired. The three components of this wall sconce are connected via threads, eliminating the need for any adhesive. The specific LED lights used in this project are available on Amazon (B07CLNHG1D), but any light with a diameter less than 3 inches should be compatible. To make it easy to swap batteries or replace the lights, ezpass stickers were utilized - essentially strong velcro - to secure them in place. On August 24th, 2018, an issue was identified with the sconce's connector piece that allowed for over-tightening of the connection to the mount, potentially cracking the side. This problem has since been resolved and the updated part is now available.
