Feel free to comment and provide any feedback too! ###[Twitter](https://twitter.com/Giga_Penguin) ###[Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/GigaPenguin3DPrinting/) Updates ==================== 20th January 2022 - added a new box back without the chassis code, file name is BoxBackAssemRWB (NoChassisCode).STL. Print setting will be the same with other BoxBackAssemRWB (Outerline) Shallow.STL. Description ==================== A base for Hotwheels RWB Porsche 930 from Silhoutte series, should work with any Hotwheels RWB Porsche 930 released. The base will works on Tarmac Works RWB 993 too, not too sure will it work on other variants of RWB from Tarmac Works. There are multiple back design to fit different variants of RWB if any of them get released. There are multiple variants of RWB for this size, the Hotwheels RWB 930 and Tarmac Works RWB 993 are the only one I have but If you have other variants, I could make another base to fit it. I need the length and width of the car base as shown here: https://imgur.com/5T6mb2L The display base is separated into 3 parts for easy printing and colour swap. The parts are: 1) Name plate - NamePlate993.STL - NamePlate930.STL - NamePlate964.STL - NamePlate.STL 2) Base (BaseV2.STL, the center hole in the base is meant for Tarmac Works RWB 993) 3) Base back wall: - BoxBackAssemRWB930 (OuterLine) shallow.STL - BoxBackAssemRWB964 (OuterLine) shallow.STL - BoxBackAssemRWB993 (OuterLine) shallow.STL - BoxBackV3 (Large RWB).STL - BoxBackAssemRWB930 (OuterLine).STL - BoxBackAssemRWB964 (OuterLine).STL - BoxBackAssemRWB993 (OuterLine).STL Base Back Wall and Name Plate Variant ==================== There are many variants of Base back wall, the one in my pictures are "BoxBackAssemRWB930 (OuterLine)". The difference for each base are: *the number behind "RWB" is the chassis code for each cars, the variants of each is just different chassis code written on it. ###BoxBackAssemRWB (OuterLine): As seen in the pictures above, the "RWB" patten behind is a lot deeper which makes the colour appear darker. (993, 964 or 930 is your own choice to fit your model). ###BoxBackAssemRWB (OuterLine) shallow: The "RWB" patten behind is not as deep from the surface, which makes the colour of the "RWB" more obvious. (993, 964 or 930 is your own choice to fit your model). ###BoxBackV3 (Large RWB).STL: A more simple design with multiple small "RWB" in the background and a large "RWB" at the center. There are 3 variants of Name Plate, the one in my pictures are "NamePlate930". The difference for each name plate are just the chassis code for specifc RWB. There is also a no chassis code name plate, the file is just "NamePlate" Print Settings ==================== Nozzle size = 0.4 mm (minimum, smaller better) Layer height = 0.2 mm Filament change layer for colours on "BoxBackAssemRWB (OuterLine)": 1) Start (Background "RWB" colour, mine is in white) 2) Layer 6 (General background colour, mine is in orange) 3) Layer 19 (Outer line for everything, mine is in black) 4) Layer 24 (Porsche lettering and "Welt" rectangle colour, mine is in red) 5) Layer 29 (Lettering colours for everything except "Porsche", mine is in white) Filament change layer for colours on "BoxBackAssemRWB (OuterLine) shallow": 1) Start (Background "RWB" colour) 2) Layer 14 (General background colour) 3) Layer 19 (Outer line for everything) 4) Layer 24 (Porsche lettering and "Welt" rectangle colour) 5) Layer 29 (Lettering colours for everything except "Porsche") Filament change layer for colours on "BoxBackV3 (Large RWB)": 1) Start (Background "RWB" pattern colour) 2) Layer 14 (General background colour) 3) Layer 19 (Outer line for "RWB" pattern) 4) Layer 24 (Large "RWB" colours) 5) Layer 29 (Large "RWB" outer line) Filament change layer for colours on "NamePlate": 1) Start (Background colour, mine in orange) 2) Layer 8 (All lettering colours, mine is in black) Assembly ==================== The car is tied by wires through the hole in the base Back plate and name plate should slide in nicely into the display base. If the name plate is loose, double sided tape will hold it nicely Others ==================== I did not test the the variants base back wall and name plate but it should works fine. Feel free to send me any feedback on how to improve the design. Suggestion on display base designs are welcomed too.
