A Custom Thumb Grip for Smaller Mirrorless Cameras: A Two-Part Solution Two versions of the grip are available, each with its own unique characteristics; version 1 measures 60mm in width, while version 2 boasts a narrower profile at 50mm. Personal preference plays a role here, as the wider option provides greater comfort but poses an issue with the mode wheel on my Sony a6000. Print Settings for Optimal Results Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer Model: R1 ABS + PLA Model Rafts: Not Applicable Supports: No Additional Support Needed Resolution: Set to 0.2000 for Precise Detail Infill Percentage: 50% for a Balance of Durability and Efficiency Notes on Printing the Thumb Grip The grip can be printed using various materials, including PETG, PLA, or ABS. I opted for PETG due to its durability and flexibility, but other options will also yield satisfactory results. To ensure the part remains rigid, a moderate to high infill percentage is recommended. Given the small size of the thumb grip, excessive infill won't waste significant time or material.
