I printed this on a Robox using standard ABS, taking advantage of its automatic configuration options that came pre-set with the material spool's EEPROM. Since the print turned out perfectly without any adjustments, I left the default settings intact. For the blank plug, I used supports, but in hindsight, they weren't entirely necessary. With its substantial flat base and large size, a printer can struggle to adhere to it properly if it's prone to warping. In the past, I've overcome this issue by incorporating a 1mm semicircle pattern into the design, essentially creating a spider web-like structure that prevents the entire part from lifting off if one or more sections fail. I designed and printed a replacement panel for my conservatory window, which also features a tumble dryer vent. To make the most of this setup, I created a second hose end and an adaptor to connect it seamlessly to the tumble dryer vent in the window. This way, the hose can be used either way around without any issues. The blank plug will go into the window vent, equipped with a flap valve that prevents wind from entering the space, but unfortunately, it doesn't stop warm air from escaping due to my old house's design flaws – vented floors and air bricks being major contributors. It's essential to note that putting this blank in your tumble dryer would be extremely hazardous and could potentially cause a fire, so please avoid doing so at all costs!
