Hotend Touch Sense Assembly
thingiverse
This is a mashup of two projects created by others. The touch sense component was designed for delta printers, so significant modifications were necessary. Additionally, the other part required adjustments to function properly with it. Some parts will need to be downloaded from other users, including the Prusa I3 rework X-Carriage. Future edits and improvements will be made after thorough testing of all printed components. All editing was done in Solidworks, and files are available upon request, despite the questionable approach used during the process. Unfortunately, necessary photos are currently unavailable but will be added as soon as possible. Update: All parts have been printed, and it appears everything works as expected except for the 30mm clip with venturi. The 5015 adapter clip failed to snap into place as anticipated, so a modification was made to enable sliding in from the rear, and the updated part was re-uploaded. Update 2: It seems that the recently uploaded component is identical to the previously deleted one. This issue will be addressed tomorrow, but a resolution is forthcoming. Update 3: The correct part has been uploaded, but V2 remains available as it was successfully adapted by trimming a small amount of plastic from the original design with a knife.
