Hotend Strain Chain
cults3d
Inspired by SpoonUnit's Cable Tidy Round: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3758346 and Cable Tidy: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2033718 I modeled this to use SpoonUnit's briliant idea of using filament to connect the "chain" links. These little connectors help reduce the strain on the bowden tube in my Ender 5 and keep the cables for the hotend out of the print space. When linked together with filament the chain is not too rigid but, just flexible enough to prevent a sharp bend of the bowden tube. It's a simple solution to a painful problem.
