DIY Hotend Silicon Cover: A Step-by-Step Guide 1. Remove any supports that may be attached to your printed parts after they have cooled completely. 2. Attempt to assemble the individual components using M4 screws, washers, and nuts. 3. Disassemble the assembled pieces before proceeding with the molding process. Make sure all parts are thoroughly lubricated beforehand - I used butter for this purpose. 4. Place the lubricated assembly into a freezer for several minutes, allowing the butter to solidify completely. 5. Next, inject flexible silicon into the mold, choosing a type that can withstand high temperatures (260°C or higher). 6. The following day, disassemble the mold and retrieve your newly created hotend silicon cover.
