I built a sturdy hotend mount for Ultimaker-like printers that delivers high-quality prints. Since I couldn't find one with the right specs, I decided to create my own instead of wasting time and material on an imperfect design. Here are the essential details: The X-Y axis spacing is 18 mm, axle diameter is 8 mm, and a 45 mm linear bearing with a 15 mm external diameter fits perfectly. All screws used are M3. To add extra security, I included additional screws to secure the bearings. These screws are optional but can provide peace of mind during printing. Regarding printing settings: Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer Model: Ultimaker 2 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill Percentage: 45% Notes: For best results, print with ABS plastic. I successfully printed the fan part without supports, but the body requires support in every area. Post-printing steps include drilling holes to secure the fan and bearings (if used). To assemble the mount, you'll need two M3 x 25 screws and two M3 nuts for the clamp.
