**UPDATE 9-11-2015 No longer selling kits, the BOM is now included in the package, allowing you to build this enclosure with ease and source parts from your preferred suppliers...** On **3/23/2015**, I introduced the "HOT BOX" enclosure system designed specifically for Lulzbot Taz series printers but can also be used with any printer fitting a 26x26x24" space. An ugly cardboard enclosure prompted me to create an elegant, functional solution! After numerous tests and prototypes, the HOT BOX was born - stylish and efficient for under $300US! Key features: - Removable hood with 4 wing nuts for easy access. - Passive heating from the print bed, reaching over 40°C. - Clear acrylic front door with aluminum handles, magnetic closure, and rubber seals. - 2x 140mm fans for PLA printing, controlled via the front panel's PWM switch. - 2 bright LED strips for adequate lighting, controlled by the front panel. - Integrated 72W power supply supplying fans, lights, and electronics. Space for additional components. - Exhaust port for RAMBO board. The free file package includes: - Comprehensive instruction manual with tools/materials list. - Over 128 HD renderings to guide the building process. - .DWG and .DXF files for laser-cut wood pieces, if desired. - .STL files for all required 3D printed parts. - An .IGES CAD file of the fully assembled HOT BOX.
