Hotbed Corner with Cork and Springs Support
thingiverse
I'm searching for a solution to cover the bottom of my hotbed with cork. Glue won't work because of the high temperature. So I designed a corner piece that supports 10mm of cork and snaps together. The holes allow clamps to hold the glass bed or similar in place. However, I no longer use this setup. I've found an anti-slip mat like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ICWJQ8U (Thanks to: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1068531466501015/). But one works much better: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00V5IM0EU. Use 220x220x10 cork from a pinboard. Cut off a small square from each corner, measuring 10x10mm. Be aware that you're using this setup at your own risk! Don't level the bed too low, as it could damage the Y-Motor or bed. Alternatively, you'll need to cut the cork to fit around the Y-Motor. After installation, slide the bed manually on the Y-Axis.
