HOTAS armrest mounting bracket clip
thingiverse
Armrest mounting clip for HOTAS controllers. Glues onto any flat-bottomed controller, can be drilled out if your controller has proper mounting plate. **DON'T USE PROVIDED STL!** Edit "model parameters" in Fusion360 file - this will adjust the model automatically - then select the body and export STL. Print small height section to test the fit. Final part will be many times stronger but will fit exactly the same. "width" is the width of your armrest's rigid section (soft padding doesn't count). If your armrest width is not uniform, then measure at the target mounting location. "height" is the total height (rigid section + soft padding) of your armrest. If your armrest height is not uniform, then measure at the target mounting location. You may need to reduce this value to get tightest grip. Using too small value will prevent the clip from locking onto the armrest. "radius" is the armrest bottom edge curvature. If your armrest height is not uniform, then measure at the target mounting location. The clip and armrest surfaces should match as closely as possible, but going bigger is better than going smaller. "stiffness" is the core width of the bracket arms. You can increase stiffness to make the clip grip onto the armrest tighter, making it harder to unclip by accident.
