Hot Wheels Track Merge Piece

My Son loves playing with his Hot Wheels track. he used to be content with just his straight tracks and loops, but as he's gotten older he's wanted more. I have tried existing designs and while they were good and their designers talented. I still felt there were some things I'd do differently, so I did. This track merge section is designed not just for function but also to last. it has full-thickness connection points and the bottom sits flush with the bottom of the track. The cost to do this was the need for some small supports under the edge of the connections but it was worth it for the strength and durability factor alone. This is a great little piece and makes it easy when my Kids race their cars too because the winning car ends up in front when the tracks merge, except in close races where they collide and wreck, which my Kids also love. There are two file options, one has slits that make connecting and removing track easier, and the other does not. Both models work great and print great, I just found that some filament can be too ridged to easily disconnect without the slits that allow some flex.
