Hot Wheels High Speed Merge Track
thingiverse
Connect this three-piece high-speed merge track to your existing Hot Wheels race track loop and launch your cars onto the track at blistering speeds. Print several copies and use them to create an intricate looping/merging racing system. Most high-speed merge tracks can't handle high-velocity vehicles, causing the cars to soar off the track. This one is different - it's designed for speed, with three 150mm-long pieces that fit perfectly together to form a 450mm-long track. The exact size of two small/medium Hot Wheels tracks, this piece can be easily integrated into your existing layout. The track will keep cars firmly in their lane even at breakneck speeds and provide a smooth transition to the next section of track or car booster. This addition will significantly expand what you can do with your Hot Wheels track setup. You'll need to print one each of the merge track sections and 14 track guides. To prepare, use an Exacto-type razor knife to smooth out the track guide studs and the holes where they go in. I used a little super glue to secure the studs in place. In the picture, you can see some of my track guides were printed in white, while others are blue.
